The cellasys GmbH, a spin-out of the Technische Universität München, published detailed description of their micro-sensor-chips for investigation of living cells. For the first time, now the pin configuration is available to the public.

Before the upcoming analytica in April 2012 the high-tech company posted the datasheet on www.cellasys.com to allow customers to use the BioChips independent of the proprietary IMOLA-IVD technology. Dr. Joachim Wiest, CEO of cellasys, states: „With opening the interface description we welcome new partners to integrate our BioChips into their own devices.“ Joint developments with a partner for live cell imaging are already ongoing.
